About the Health & Aged Care Sector
LHMU QHealth - Your QHealth Union
The LHMU QHealth website is dedicated to Queensland Health LHMU members as a platform for establishing a strong, democratic health union.
Throughout 2008, the LHMU QHealth web site communicated with members on a broad range of topics including the implementation of the Health Practitioners agreement and the negotiation of EB7.
2009 presents as an exciting year for LHMU members as processes to develop the new delegate structure move into the next phase. The newly formed structure is set to further empower LHMU members to act collectively to achieve better working conditions, dignity, fairness and overcome injustice.

Fair Share for Aged Care
The LHMU Fair Share for Aged Care website is dedicated to direct care and support workers in WA, SA, ACT, NT and QLD employed in the residential and community aged care sector.
With an ageing population and longer life expectancy the importance of the work of aged care members is becoming more prominent and visible to the community as families have to make the difficult arrangements for the care of their elderly loved ones.
Unfortunately there are big problems in the aged care industry and as a result thousands of aged care members across Australia are working together to achieve real change across the sector.
