Notice to Members - Proposed Rule Changes

- The LHMU has made application to Fair Work Australia to alter its Eligibility Rules to clarify its eligibility to enroll as members and to represent the industrial interests of persons employed in or in connection with private correctional facilities and prisoner transport in New South Wales.
- The terms of the application were approved by a ballot of the National Council closing on 12 January 2010.
- The LHMU application seeks to alter Rules 3 – Conditions of Eligibility and Rule 4 – Description of Industries.
